Saturday’s 7-0 loss to the Yankees, was truly ugly, ineffective hitting and 4 HR's allowed by Jason Grilli looking like he is finished goods.
he came to be a setup man for Osuna and was good but this season he has just been terrible, maybe he gets 1 or innings to bounce back if he can't he should likely will be cut.
It was mind boggling why Benoit was not resigned after he pitched so well to help secure a stable bullpen that allowed the team to push for a wildcard spot. Barnes With Barnes Smith and Tepera there is no room for Grilli but a long summer still lies and the team would be best to bring in another lefty to team up with Loup, who after a few subpar seasons has been very consistent.
